Serenity Farm strives to make programs affordable and available for our community through fundraising, grant writing and gifts from our generous donors. We offer a scholarship program for our families that qualify and strive to keep our cost at a minimum.
Does my health care insurance cover Equine Assisted Therapy?
No, we do not bill insurance. Our relationship is with the client and family and we do not enter into the insurance process. Most insurance companies do not cover equine assisted therapy or therapeutic riding. There are many community resources that can help with the cost of therapy. Please check with your insurance providers as changes can occur with coverage.

Thank you for the offer. At this time, we do not have any openings for additional horses. If you feel strongly that your horse candidate is a good fit for therapy services, please send us your most current vet/farrier/dental records and we will get back to you.
Do you offer riding lessons?
Serenity Farm does not offer recreational riding lessons. Please check your local listings for numerous barns in the area that provide those services.
What does it cost to take care of a therapy horse?
The board of trustees at Serenity Farm budgets $4,000 per year for full size horses and $2,000 per year for the mini horses.
