What is Lucky Riders?

Our therapeutic riding program is small in nature, but very large in satisfaction. One parent states, "It's the best kept secret in Wood County...and I'm not telling anyone else."

Our riders are referred to us by doctors, physical therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists and private individuals. With our four legged co-facilitators, we are able to work with CP, MS, MD, learning delays, speech delays, hearing impaired, behavior difficulties, vision impaired, autism, and MRDD.

With careful planning between treatment team members, we offer an hour of therapy to strengthen muscles, increase attention focus, help social skills develop, empower self-esteem and confidence, and promote speech and learning skills.

Our instructor is certified, safety conscious and skilled with many years of experience. We pride our program with safety, training and dedicated adult volunteers.
